Dear Trinity Family,
What a week we’ve had! Ice, ice, and more ice!
After a break last week to acknowledge the times in our life when we feel “frozen,” we finally continue in our sermon series “Think on These Things.”
This week we will reflect on the question “Are You There Yet?” based on the encouraging words of Philippians 3:12-21 (CEB). Philippians 3 challenges us to press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Jesus Christ. It’s a powerful reminder that our spiritual journey is a continuous pursuit, not a one-time achievement. Complementing this, Galatians 5:22-23 (CEB) speaks of the fruits of the Spirit, which are essential indicators of our spiritual growth.
As we prepare our hearts for this message, reflect on these questions:
I’m looking forward to worshiping this weekend – 9 am Traditional (Sanctuary) and 10:30 am Cross Connect Contemporary (The New Room). “Are You There Yet?” will be a checkpoint for all of us as we start the year on our spiritual journey. It’s a moment to pause, reflect, and realign ourselves with the path God has set before us.
Let’s embrace this opportunity to assess where we are, where we’re headed, and how we can continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Blessings,
Pastor Dedric
