LENT CHURCH WIDE STUDY: What Are You Afraid Of? . March 9 - April 13
In our fast-paced lives, filled with constant busyness, we often overlook our deepest fears—failure, loneliness, or loss of control. These fears stem from root sins that draw us away from God, leading to isolation. Each week, we will address a cultural sin that entangles us, explore the fear behind it, and ground ourselves in Scripture to seek God's guidance and grace. We will also introduce a Lenten practice to help align your mind, heart, and body more closely with Christ. Sunday morning small groups participating include Rooted, 20s/30, Ray Farmer, Elise Moss, Connexions, Cathy Holland, ESB, Sermon Topics, Society of Friends. Want help connecting? Contact Becca Bibee, Director of Discipleship.
TRINITY READS: PASTORAL PICKS FOR LENT
This Lenten season we offer an opportunity to deepen your faith through guided reading. Each of our pastors has selected a book to read during Lent, offering a unique perspective on faith, discipleship, and spiritual growth. Along with each book, pastors will provide a reflection guide to help you reflect on key themes, insights, and questions. As you journey through Lent, we challenge you to engage with these books intentionally and allow this season to be one of deeper exploration and renewal in your faith. See the selections HERE.
LENT MISSION CHALLENGE: Project Share: Be the Light . 40 Days - March thru April
Winter's chill means higher utility bills. Once again this year for Lent, Trinity's Missions and Justice Committee has committed $10,000 from Missions Allocations to Huntsville Utilities' Project Share. Their challenge: during the 40 days of Lent, all Trinity members, visitors, friends, adults, youth, and children donate at least $1 per person per day to match or exceed this donation. The initiative aims to aid those overwhelmed by bills and anticipates surpassing the $10,000 goal with support from Trinity's community. Surplus donations will support one of Trinity's mission partners, the Huntsville Assistance Program, for utility assistance. Read more about Project Share HERE. Meet the challenge by writing lent in the memo of your check or on the envelope with cash and put in the offering, text lent to 256.449.1956, or give online HERE. Let’s accept the challenge and give MORE than we did last year!
