Dear Trinity Family & Friends:
On this blessed Christmas Day, as we gather with family and friends, surrounded by the warmth of love and the joy of the season, we celebrate a moment we have all been waiting for – the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. In the humblest of settings, in a manger, Christ entered our world, embodying the hope, peace, love, and joy we have longed for.
The story of Christ’s birth is a powerful reminder that God’s timing is perfect. In the simplicity of a stable, away from fanfare, the Savior of the world was born. This humble beginning is a testament to God’s extraordinary way of working in our lives, often beyond our expectations and understanding. As we reflect on this incredible event, let’s remember that every season of waiting in our lives has a purpose and that God is with us in each of them.
Today, as we celebrate Christmas, let us embrace the fullness of joy that comes with the birth of Jesus. Let the love that he represents fill our homes and hearts. Let the peace he brings reside in our spirits, and the hope he embodies light our way. The wait is indeed over – Christ is born, and through him, we are offered the greatest gift of all, salvation and eternal life.
Join us this Sunday from a combined worship service at 10:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary, as we continue the celebration of the season with a Service of Lessons & Carols featuring the choir and congregational singing.
Merry Christmas!
Pastor Dedric
