Cross Connect: Finding Your Story in God's Story

Carrie Jones • September 3, 2021

Another pillar belief we have at Cross Connect is that the scriptures are the foundation of our faith and community. Beginning September 12, we are excited to begin a comprehensive journey through the scriptures using The Story as our guide.

The Story is a chronological presentation of the Bible that reads like a novel. There are no verse references, and scripture segments are seamlessly woven together with transition text into 31 chapters of a single grand narrative. Another wonderful aspect of The Story is that there is a resource for every age: Adult, Student, Elementary Children and Little Ones. Therefore, The Story is a journey every generation can experience together!

Our hope is that The Story will help us all understand God's Word more fully, engage with it more easily, and as a result, find our story in God's story. Check out Sunday's Worship for the full experience.

If you need a copy of The Story for you, your household, or someone you'd like to invite to journey with you, they are available for pick-up:

Every Sunday at Cross Connect,
In the New Room Lobby any day of the week, or
At a Drive Thru on Wednesday, September 8 at the Wesley Hall Entrance (Door 1) from 11:30 am-1:30 pm.

We can't wait to embark on this journey with you, and together to find our story in God's story! See you in worship on Sunday at 11 am, in person or online!
