5.12.24: “A Legacy of Leadership” - United Women in Faith Sunday
Judges 4:1-16, Romans 16:1-16
Hi Trinity Family & Friends,
This Sunday, I am very excited to lead our congregation in worship and the celebration of United Women in Faith and all women who have nurtured and impacted our lives. To do so, we will dive into scriptures that highlight the legacy of women’s leadership throughout God’s story. We will consider the unique and strong leadership of Deborah in Judges 4:1-16 as well as the prominence and plentitude of female leadership in the early church as noted in Romans 16:1-16.
As you prepare for this special time of worship, consider these questions:
- Who is your favorite woman in scripture? Why?
- What woman has impacted your life the most? How so?
- Why is the leadership of women so important to the body of Christ?
- How have you witnessed the church more enriched by the leadership of women?
In addition to our 9 am Traditional and 10:30 am Contemporary worship services, we will also celebrate women with Muffins for Mom and special photo booths in both lobby spaces before and after worship. I look forward to worshipping God and celebrating women’s leadership with you this Sunday!
